I had a fantastic time at PuG 2025 Ψ🧠 last week in sunny, lovely Würzburg! I really enjoyed the deep dive discussions on combined eye-EEG analyses, 3D face processing, emotion regulation strategies, the mysteries of gamma oscillations, and, of course, late-night brainstorming on hyperscanning research with my colleague Anna Vorreuther!

Every year, I’m amazed by how the PuG community brings together such skilled, creative, and genuinely kind researchers who share a passion for neuroscience and biopsychology 🫶. The conference closed on a personal high note as I received the Poster Award from the Biopsychology and Neuropsychology Division of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie (DGPs) e.V. 🏆🏅

Thank you very much to the jury and reviewers for your support and vote for my poster presenting MEG research on Decoding the Neural Basis of Interactions between Emotional Speech Processing and Attentional Control in Realistic Environments 🧠💬🗣️👀🚗!
